1949 Jaguar MKV


This Jaguar MK V Saloons coachwork is finished in silver and navy blue with grey Leather interior. The leaping Jaguar radiator cap was an optional extra that this car has proudly adorning the front end. Two engines were available on the MK V a 2.5 litre straight six and this car with a 3.5 litre straight six engine

Front suicide doors giving it a unique Jaguar feel epitomising the luxury that the MK V offered its owner. This car was fitted with a power brake upgrade to make driving the car easier in modern conditions. The rear spats compliment the Jaguars lines giving it a sporty sleek feel with its saloon car attributes.

The original mahogany wood dashboard has been refurbished to give the car an elegant ambiance. A distinctive styling touch on the saloon was a “tuck in” curve at the base of the rear quarter window.
