1962 JAGUAR MK II SALOON

R385,000

A generation ago the motorist with a family might well have looked no further than a Jaguar Mark II as his daily car. The Mark II offers beautiful proportioned styling, excellent performance, engineering quality and fine handling. This was Jaguars first unibody saloon. Sir William Lyon’s (Mr Jaguar) 1950’s marketing slogan at the time was GRACE…. SPACE…. PACE….

This Mark II Jaguar has gone through a complete nut and bolt rebuild by a reputable Jaguar Workshop. The new Rose Gold exterior is in excellent condition; all the bright work is good and the wire rims finish her exterior off superbly. The Cream leather interior is fine and classy, complimented by the carpets and the walnut dash and window trim; the wood work is amazing.

The Mark II drives extremely well and is fitted with the optional extras of power steering and overdrive, the six cylinder 3,4l is sound, having been completely rebuilt. The engine bay is period correct and as neat as a pin. This is a fantastic Jaguar to drive.
