But just like your best memories this 1955 Ford F100 has a lot more to it than the original. She proudly displays a Ford 351 Winsor V8 with aluminium Edelbrock heads and aluminium Ford Racing Valve covers, allowing her to push out a whopping 400HP. The Skoda red paint has more depth then they could get in the 50’s; the chrome bumpers reflect this with a brighter mirror-like shine. There are a few blemishes that we dislike, which we can discount in the final price. Everything from the Jaguar XJS suspension, front and rear Jaguar disc brake setup, custom Billet switches and Dakota digital gauges is exacting, along with the air-conditioning, Rockford Fosgate speaker setup, custom aluminium 97 litre gas tank and the durable reupholstered bench seat. The rear thunderbolt front badge leads the way. The dash remains original and carries out the same Skoda red appeal as the exterior. There is plenty of space thanks to the uncluttered feeling. The double custom stainless-steel exhaust system gives this Ford a classic rhythmic beat with a grand tempo that increases with the acceleration. When you grab a hold of the Budnik steering wheel and slip the three-speed automatic quick shifter into gear. The full experience of being behind the wheel feels like rolling history. Originally the cab was built for long-lasting function and today it remains with the same tough appeal. The same appeal as a good war movie. This is the 50’s Ford Pickup that delivers all the best of the era.
