The Austin Healey 100 arose from a very simple maxim, to go 100mph and look good doing it. Donald Healy actually drove a prototype version of this car to over 200mph at Bonneville Salt Flats in August 1956.These Healeys have become very sought after by sports car collectors worldwide and sadly many have left our shores to go to homes abroad .This Austin Healey was restored by a well known Specialist ( Neil Carlston ).The car has numerous upgrades, it is fitted with a 3000 Austin-Healey motor with 2 inch carbs matched to a BJ8 gearbox with a overdrive and a 3.5 high ratio diff. The suspension has been upgraded to telescopic shocks all round and the brakes upgraded to 3 pot calliper disc brakes up front. The car comes with a factory hard top and tonneau cover as well as all the weather side screens. This car is modern and fast but has a 1958 vintage look.
