This is the Mercedes-Benz W 121 powered by a 1.9 liter OM 621 diesel engine. The W 121 was nicknamed the Ponton after its introduction, because it employed Ponton, or pontoon styling, a prominent styling trend that unified a car’s previously articulated hood, body, fenders and running boards into a singular envelope.
She can still be a good runner after a proper service, and with gorgeous interior which consists of beautiful wooden finishes, a beautiful and practical dash layout and well looked after white leather seats, she is the perfect collectors addition. What makes this particular model even more rare is that she’s a diesel version and a definite must have!
