“ If cars have sharply defined characters according to where they come from – and they do – then the Lancia must be the exception which proves the Rule, Italian cars in general tend to be fragile, extrovert and often rather temperamental, at least in the higher – priced ranks – flamboyant in looks , noisy in behaviour and exciting in performance, but Lancia’s are cars of another breed indeed .They seem strongly non – Italian. They look neat, restrained and business like rather than exotic or exciting. They perform adequately without boring you to tears or frightening you out of your wits. In a word they are careful cars – careful design, careful performance, careful handling, designed for the well – heeled owner who believes in keeping his car carefully ‘’ Stirling Moss.
I could not have described the Lancia any better, this car was penned and assembled by Pininfarina, the same designers who created the Ferrari 330 GT and it clearly shows with its vestigial tail fins, quad headlights and swooping B pillar; it does ooze Italian style. Powered by a crisp 2 litre flat four engine that is combined with a 5 speed gearbox that is smooth yet firm. The interior is comfortably dressed with cream seats and dark grey carpets. The car is fitted with a rag top installed by the dealership. The exterior is in excellent condition bar a small mark on the front fender. The Lancia comes with original tool roll and a file full of history. The Car has attended many an event and show as can be seen by numerous stickers left on the windows. A true beauty.
