Description
The Honda CB750 DOHC family had a few options between 1979 and 1983. The traditional CB750K and 750F had square tanks while the Custom had a more deisreable teardrop shaped tank and air adjustable front shocks. The CB 750 Custom was only produced between 1980 and 1982. The bike boasted a ¼ mile of 12.7 sec and was capable of a top speed of 204.7kmh. This CB750C was in a sad state when the restorer purchased her and the only option was to do a nut an bolt restoration and conversion to a café racer. As many of the original parts that were savageable were used. This bike has been stripped into little bits, treated, powder coated. The wiring harnass has been completely redone. Many of the bolts and screws were specially manufactured from stainless steel to replace old rusted bolts. New wheel bearings and head (steering) bearings have been fitted. Brakes cylinders have been completely rebuilt with new pistons and seals. Shocks have been completely refurbed with new seals and oils. The seat is custom made from Carbon Fibre and recovered in a stunning tan leather. This bike is wickedly fast for a 35 year old and the typical roar from her custom made “Single sided” dual pipes makes heads turn when she is cranked. This is the only one of her kind.
