1995 BMW M3 E36 (German Spec)

BMW launched the E36 M3 in 1992 but unlike its 4-cylinder E30 predecessor, it used a silky 6-cylinder. It differed too in terms of not being a motorsport driven homologation special but was an instant hit and anyone with a motoring inclining in the ‘90s wanted one.

For the diehard fans the 2-door was a must and here in South Africa you’d hold the trump card if it was the ‘German spec’, with a bit more power thanks to higher compression and niceties like the ‘Vader’ seats.

This ‘German’ spec M3 is finished in one of the best colour combinations of Avus Blue paint and light grey interior. Already a bonafide modern classic, the E36 M3 continues its collector acceleration.
