TVR Manufacturing Limited was founded in 1946 by Trevor Wilkinson and co-founder Jack Pickard in Blackpool, United Kingdom. Their mission was to build high-end sports cars, offering a range of coupes and convertibles.
In the ’90s, TVR made waves with iconic British sports cars like the Chimaera, Griffith, and Cerbera—grand tourers that turned heads then and still do today. The Chimaera, produced from 1992 to 2003, saw 5,256 units built. It featured the Rover V8 engine with displacements ranging from 4.0L to 5.0L, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Our 4.0L version boasts specs of 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 158 mph (254 km/h). Even today, this Chimaera feels lively and eager to go.
