The Porsche 996 was the first of the real changes from the Porsche 911 classic series. It arrived with a brand-new chassis platform and had a new water-cooled engine to replace the traditional air-cooled engines. The body was now far more sleeker and a little larger with a new interior design. The Turbo is equipped with a 3,6l flat six twin turbo producing around 420bhp derived from the 1998 LeMans winning GT-1 car and features “All–wheel” drive. This 996 is a cabriolet which was first to be produced in 2004. Right now, the 996 is an under appreciated and undervalued Porsche. If you’d love to own a 911 then you’ll love the 996, and right now it’s a bargain.
