It was produced by Aston Martin Lagonda from 1953 to 1958. In 1955 the engine displacement was increased from 2.6 liters to 3 liters and a floor mounted gear stick was added. This is how we know that this magnificent vehicle is one of the only 55 convertible drophead Lagonda cars produced. This makes it one of the rarest cars ever made.

Our Lagonda is resplendent in light silver over its original dark red hide and has had two long-term owners. The chassis and engine were designed by W O Bentley. It has advanced features such as inboard rear brakes and a cruciform chassis. The engine powered Aston Martin cars to competition success. The Lagonda is in magnificent condition. It is totally outstanding in every possible way. The interior is luxurious and sumptuous with its original leather in exceptional condition with spectacular patina.
