This 57 Chevy is one hell of an eye-catcher and to date, there is yet one person to walk into your showroom without stopping at it first and having a good look, so we think she isn’t her to stay for long.
In 1955 GM redesigned Trucks into what we know now as the series two and this design was kept until 1959. Between the years there were slight changes and the outstanding feature of the 1957 Truck was the more open grill and the hood that looked more like the Chevy Bel Air with the two raised spears on it. We could dig deeper into the roots of GM at the time, but we all know that the 50s Chevy’s are the most desirable.
Well, we are not here to waste time on the past as we are in the here and now and we have an impressive Resto-mod Chevy to investigate. And Resto-mods are all the crazy and where the money lies in American Muscle and our 57 ticks all the boxes. Starting with the unusual Colour of the Blue and its little peck over the windscreen, to the impressive Detroit 20ich Steelies for wheels and the way the arches need to widen in the bed, giving a clearance of the 315/35/20inch tyres on the back. Even the interior is custom, from the bench seat wrapped in a destress tan leather, the matching door cards, and roof lining in the same leather, and lastly the modern instruments and custom steering. But all of this does not matter if we don’t look at the heart and drive of this Beautiful Pick-Up.
Well, every car guy knows of The Corvette and in doing so knows of the LS Engine and its legendary power, well that is this Chevy’s Heart matched up to a smooth 3speed with an overdrive gearbox. This whole setup is sitting in a Jag Suspension and the old leaf spring system is on the back with a 9-inch diff turning the wheels.
With this all said the truck is a real driver’s vehicle. From the burbling to roar of the V8, from the smooth ride of the suspension to the great brakes of the Jag, this 57 Chevy Pick-up is a through bred toy that catches everyone attention.
Its this your vibe give a call and come see this beauty for yourself.
Interesting trade-in’s will be considered.
