Welcome to our show piece of a 2 door 65 Chevy Impala SS that has been featured in several Hot Rod and Chevy Mags a couple of years back. But let’s chat about the brand first of the Impala. Chevrolet longest standing name that has stood the test of time is the Impala SS. The first generation was built in 1958 and there is still buildings of Impala’s today.
In 1965 Chev introduced the 4th Generation of Impala’s and this generation was carried to 1970 with changes over each year but we think the 1965 version was the best.
So bad boy started life very differently to what you see before you now and not much can be said about the car before its current owner found it in 1999 at a Panelbeater in Edenvale but since then it’s undergone a full custom built. Under the hood is small block 324Cu V8 with lots of life and happy to please the driver. The matched automatic box and drivetrain makes it an awesome cruiser. But its party trick is the EZ RYDE air suspension offering a good ride as well as when you arrive at your destination you can stance the car to catch the crowds’ eyes.
The exterior with its purple paint job is eye catching, the chrome just adds bling, and the purple has been pulled into the interior with the carpets and console, otherwise its seats are covered in luxurious tan leather.
This Car is hard to just do justice to in words and photos so we highly recommend that you come in and view this bad boy here on our floor and maybe we will even let you drive it.
For more information come in and view the car or give us a call.
Interesting trade-ins will be considered.
