The Triumph TR6 is a two-stroke, single-cylinder, sports bike produced by Triumph Motorcycles between 1956 and 1973. It was the last in a long line of Triumph two-strokes, and was replaced by the four-stroke TR7.
The TR6 was a 649cc, air-cooled parallel twin, with a five-speed transmission, and a chain-driven primary drive. It had a single, 34mm Amal carburettor, single-cylinder, four-valve head. The TR6 was capable of reaching a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h), and was equipped with a kick-start and a conventional clutch.
The example we have on offer is presented well and has an indicated 10135km on the clock. The TR6 was considered to be a reliable and capable machine, and was popular amongst riders and collectors alike.
Interesting trade-in’s will be considered.
