Some say that the Land Rover Series was Inspired by the WILLYS JEEP from World War II and others say the Land Rovers have conquered the World, all we know is that they are loved by their owners.

The series was the start of a long history of off-road vehicles for Land Rover. Even though the Series name ended 1983 the Heritage has been carried by the Defender, as the workhorse and the brand continued to grow in the 4×4 world building more luxurious versions like the Discovery’s and Super Luxury Status of the Range Rover.

But Back to Basics and our Series 2a. She any be simple 4×4 but a pioneer in her own right and a beautifully vision to look at. Yes, she has been restored meticulously from the usual metallic green paintwork to the straight body of the Aluminum panels. The gent that restored this Landy knows his Craft and made sure that the finer details weren’t missed.

The little 2.25 Engine swings over happily to life and sings along at gently cruising speeds but where this Series Shines is not playing in the back country, the grippy new off-road Tyres are just calling to get dirty and pull itself out of tricky places with its torquey engine and 4 Wheel drive system.
