The Chevy C10 has been the workhorse of the brand for the longest time and the successor to the Apache’s which are becoming highly collectable as Resto-Mods.
Resto Mods are all the rage around the world and at the last Barrett Jackson Auction commanded the sales fetching higher prices than their original versions. Which brings me to our Amazing Chevy C10 Resto Mod.

This fully customized truck is like most resto-mods unique in its own rights.
Starting with the look, the baby blue paint is eye catching and suits the look of the truck perfectly. Then there is the 20inch wheels tucked nicely under the dropped body that is sitting on a custom-built suspension by The Street Rod Factory offering the great stance and a nice ride. As one can expect a pick-up that looks this good from the outside must have something special inside, and you would be right.
Under the hood is a 350 Vortec engine and just for a little spice a stage 2 camshaft has been fitted. To add the performance of the motor a fuel injection system that is managed by an MSD ATOMIC EFI has been fitted. The transmission is very much workhouse for a lot of American muscle cars and trucks in the form of the TH350 which is a good match, from there the power is sent down the prop to the 8.8 limited slip diff. Now that we can move forward rapidly, we have to think about stopping, Vari Racing Brakes and Disks seemed like a good choice behind the sexy wheels.
So, what is it like to drive once you are in the cabin, well even before you start you have to admire the Blue Dakoto Gauges with tons of info for you as a driver with is mostly irrelevant as you just want to get to the driving point of the truck. Once you are beyond that you just can’t resist on putting your hand on the gear selector. Just in front of that is the Aircon unit to keep you cool and a little higher than that is the Bluetooth Retro Radio which we think nice extra, but you are going to listen to the tune of the V8 under the Hood.
