This fine example is finished in Ferrari’s Rosso Corsa (scarlet red) coach work with black leather upholstery. This 1979 Ferrari is a 308 Grand Touring Spider (GTS) and was the original 308 powered by carburettors. This car was replaced with the Ferrari 308 GTSi and then the Quattro Valvole which had the multi valve engine. This early 308 GTS made 250 BHP, the GTSi made 214 BHP, the QV 240 BHP making this the most desirable. This Ferrari is a documented nut and bolt restoration finished a few years back by a reputable Ferrari company. The Targa roof is removable and stores neatly behind the seats with a matching black leather cover. The Tyres have been upgraded to a modern tyre tread replacing the original cross-ply radials’. The Ferrari 308 Range has a proven track record, as an excellent investment with car collectors.
