The Toyota Celica is a car produced by the Japanese marque from 1970 until 2006 throughout the 7 generations and was always powered by a 4-cylinder motor. The second-generation Celica was released for the 1978 model year and was available in both notchback coupé and Liftback forms. The facelift was launched in August 1979 came with square headlights and revised taillights.

the Celica was a two-door hardtop coupé that emphasized styling and driving enjoyment based on a platform shared with the Carina sedan. The facelifted model not only featured square headlights, but also came with a new grille, a revised hood and updated fenders.
