The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the United Kingdom and later the United States since 1962.

As there were only around 1000 units of these original Cobras built, you can imagine that way more than 1000 people wanted the car, and thus many replication companies were born. One such company called Kit Car Centre (KCC) started building replica Cobras in South Africa for a fraction of what an original would cost, allowing for customers to individually customise their car according to their preference, opening up a whole new world to unique Cobra builds.

The example we have on offer was built by KCC in South Africa and it is fitted with a 327c.i. 5.7L V8 engine. Some custom work on the car includes some airbrushed flame art on the exterior, a removable soft top, RGM shifter, 650 Holley Carburettors with a race manifold and a 350 Turbo gearbox. The car has also been fitted with brand new spark plugs as well as MSD heavy duty plug wires. This is definitely a unique build and one that is sure to turn heads.
