The Nissan 300ZX is the stuff of legends. An era when the Jap’s decided to take on Porsche and Ferrari and the like at their own game. Supra’s, Mitsubishi GT0’s, Mazda RX-7’s and the 300ZX were all advanced cars in their own rights. Received well at the time, they didn’t quite grow in value like their German and Italian rivals until recently…
This 300ZX is a stone-cold sleeper. From the outside, only the 18inch Volk wheels give a hint to what’s lurking beneath. Life started as one of the original Nissan SA Imports with all the paperwork to prove. It was then built by the renowned Hannes Minaar of MLD Racing a good few years back and has since been updated and refreshed front to back. It’s a party pack of extra’s so let’s start with the might heart that kicks out a whooping 400kw’s and 700nm’s at 1,5bar boost! Yeap, those Ferrari’s and Porsche will be a distant rearview memory in no time as you change the weather from sunny to overcast.
The one to have, a Toyota 2JZ non-vvt with a 1J head with ARP headbolts, bigger injectors, custom 90mm intake mated to a huge ball bearing turbo (with a brand-new core from Full Boost Turbo Chargers) with a screamer pipe from the waste gate. Turbo Smart parts fill the engine bay with braided hoses, Dave Engle Breather Box and a Matrix Boost controller. A custom 76mm exhaust makes sure your neighbors hear you when you open it up on the highway whilst you grin ear to ear at the sound of dump valve straight out of a rally car. To put the power down, new Michelin tires with a Madine triple plate clutch mated to a super strong Toyota D4D 5 speed manual gearbox and some BC Coilovers to handle all that power. Inside the car is stock except for 3 boost gauges so even your passenger won’t know until you hit the boost!
So, what are you waiting for?
Interesting trade-in’s will be considered.
