An E Class with underbody plastics to streamline airflow and reduce the drag coefficient thus improving fuel consumption. This was the era where car manufacturers really started making a string of varieties on one platform. The W124 had many models to choose from and the picky automotive consumer was born.

Driving this E Class is like a magic carpet ride and looks the part round town or out cruising the boulevards or beach fronts with the roof down. This Mercedes is not a sport car but a grand tourer and makes you want to enjoy the drive and not rush to your destination…. perfect for long trips.
