Jaguar Cars first appeared in September of 1935 with the Jaguar SS 2 ½ Litre and was founded by two motorcycle enthusiast William Lyons and William Walmsley that owned Swallow Sides cars before venturing into building Cars.
Over the Years Jaguar has built a reputation for Sports Cars and Luxury Saloons and this is where the Jaguar XJR Supercharged falls in. The XJ Series was conceived in 1968 and is still built today. The first XJ6 known as the Series 1 was and running a 4.2 litre straight 6 and XJ’s where fitted with the Double 6, these were built in collaboration with Daimler Cars. The XJ Series is known as the Limousine of their range
