The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is a grand touring sportscar manufactured by the German automaker since 1954, with the R230 series being introduced in 2001.

The R230 continues the evolution of R129 with it’s smoother body design and new ovular headlamp design. The fifth-generation SL-Class also featured a new ‘Vario’ retractable hardtop, aiding in a much cleaner finish to the cars design as well as ease of use with the working of the hardtop.
