2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG
R229,000
The R170 Mercedes-Benz SLK is the first generation of the SLK range of compact sporty roadsters produced by Mercedes-Benz between 1996 and 2004. The high performance SLK32 AMG was finally introduced in 2001.
Designed to rival the BMW Z3 M Roadster and Porsche Boxster S, the SLK32 car featured the same engine as in the SLK 320, but with a helical twin-screw supercharger and water-to-air intercooler. Mercedes also introduced their new ‘SpeedShift’ 5G-tronic (automatic) transmission on the SLK 32, which allowed for the manual shifting of gears, and faster automatic downshifts before overtaking. It features a more angular steering wheel, AMG instrument dials, an updated front and rear bumper with larger air intakes, and larger brakes. The SLK32 allowed for superb performance but offered a higher degree of comfort to its competitors.
Very few made it into South Africa, making this a rather rare and desirable model, especially with the updated headlights.
We are pleased to be able to offer a stunning example of the SLK 32 AMG, with 125000km on the clock. It features a full service history and is in extremely good condition, showing a high quality of previous owners. It is also in the more desirable silver with black interior combination.
Don’t miss out on this superb example of AMG history & feel free to contact us with any queries you may have.
Interesting trade-in’s will be considered.
