The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the flagship vehicle for Mercedes-Benz and was officially introduced in 1972 with the W116. It has remained in use ever since and has proved time and again to be at the forefront in the “luxury and class” segment.

The W221 was introduced in 2005 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show with the flagship performance model being the brutal S65 AMG. Whilst setting the standard for all luxury manufacturers, the S65 AMG had performance and road presence to match. Pushing out a massive 621hp & 1000Nm, the S65 was the ultimate luxury performer.
