Launched in 1988, The BMW M5 is the high performance variant of the already successful BMW 5 series brand. It has become an icon in the four door Luxury Performance segment & the car that has set the benchmark in both aspects.
The M5 F10 is the fifth generation M5 and is powered by a twin turbo V8 engine and which was coupled to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. On initial launch the car produced 553 HP and 680 nm of torque and pushed an impressive 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 305km/h (With M Drivers package). From 2014, the Competition pack was introduced and this boosted performance up to 567 HP and also boasted a revised suspension set up along with dropping the car by 10mm. Cosmetically, the M5 sat on 19” rims but was offered with 20” M-light alloys as an option. M Performance Parts include an M Performance exhaust, a carbon fibre spoiler, a sport steering wheel, sport pedals, side skirts, a diffuser and carbon fibre mirrors.
