This model range was the first for the new Fleetside bed called Wideside by GMC and a significant redesign of the front end. All light-duty trucks were called “Apache”, which has four headlights instead of the previous two, and features a shorter, wider grille running the width of the front end. Parking lights were moved into the grille instead of being in the front of the fender and the hood is similar to the 1955/1956 models, but with a flat “valley” in the middle. Now this monster is completely restored with a 350 cu. Inch V8 Chevrolet motor coupled to a lovely floor shifter Automatic box, Jaguar dropped suspension fitted, beautiful low profile 20” American Racing mags, disk brakes all round, and a lovely contrasted black and gold exterior bodywork. On the interior, you have beautiful diamond-shaped white stitching on the black seats with headrests and on the doors, as well as an electronic instrument cluster with a banging XTC sound system. If you want to make an impression, then this old-school roaring muscle Apache will surely do it properly!!
